Getting Ready for the Premiere

Every child is a VIP! Each one is important and has talents that need to be developed -- regardless of the his or her social background. That is the idea behind the 2008 Carl Bertelsmann Prize and is something that students from Gütersloh's Hauptschule Nord have been experiencing first-hand. Together with musician Todd Fletcher, a native of the United States who resides in Germany, they are preparing a short musical which they will present during the award ceremony for the Carl Bertelsmann Prize in September. We're documenting their efforts, everything from auditions to the premiere, and making the photos available here.
